Description and operation

Description

In order to ensure adequate brake power assistance in every situation, the brake booster is equipped with a partial vacuum sensor. The brake booster vacuum pressure sensor is located beside the brake booster.

Inspection

1.	Check for loose connection of BBCPS and vacuum hose, and damage of vacuum hose.

2.	Connect KDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).

3.	Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

4.	Monitor "BBVPS" parameter on KDS.

Repair procedures Replacement Oil Seal (Main Shaft) 1. Remove the transfer case assembly. (Refer to 4 Wheel Drive (AWD) System -"Transfer Case Assembly") 2. Remove the oil seal (A) using a flat head driver. • To prevent from oil leak at the Bentle Valve (B), replace the oil seal with the same installation direction of transfer case oil seal.

Components and components location Components 1. Condenser Repair procedures Inspection 1. Check the condenser fins for clogging and damage. If clogged, clean with water, and blow dry with compressed air. If bent, gently smooth out using a screwdriver or pliers. 2.
