There are five primary symbols used to complement illustrations. These symbols indicate the part to apply such materials during service.

Do not reuse the part. Replace a new one. |

Apply engine oil or transmission oil to the part. |
|
|
Apply automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to the part. |
|
|
Apply grease to the part. |

Apply sealant to the part. |
Other information:
Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the vanity lamp (A) using a flat-tip screwdriver. 3. Disconnect the vanity lamp connector (A). Installation 1. Connect the vanity lamp connector.Repair procedures Inspection [On vehicle inspection] 1. Accelerate the engine to about 3,000 rpm 3 times or more. 2. Remove the spark plug. 3. Check the spark plug visually. If the electrode is dry, the spark plug is normal. If the electrode is wet, check the damage and electrode gap as below.Categories
