There are five primary symbols used to complement illustrations. These symbols indicate the part to apply such materials during service.

Apply engine oil or transmission oil to the part. |

Apply automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to the part. |

Apply grease to the part. |

Components and components location Components Appearance of E-CVVT is similar to that of hydraulic CVVT. Connector that drives DC motor and protection cover that protects the motor are mounted on the upper part. DC motor that drives the CVVT is mounted inside and covering part is sealed in order to protect oil from flowing inside.Repair procedures Replacement 1. Remove the front driveshaft. (Refer to Driveshaft Assembly - “Front Driveshaft”) 2. Remove the TJ joint assembly. (Refer to Driveshaft Assembly - “TJ Joint”) 3. Using a plier or flat-tipped (-) screwdriver, remove the BJ boot bands (A).Categories
