Description and operation
| Description |
Via the seat belt/door switch, the ISG function can detect if the driver side seat belt is fastened and the driver side door is closed. If the driver side seat belt/door are not fastened/closed, the ISG system will not operate. If the seat belt/door are unfastened/opened, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for safety reasons.

Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly") |

Remove the front seat belt buckle (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Repair procedures Inspection 1. Check the steering wheel free road. (1) Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels are facing straight ahead. (2) Measure the distance where the steering wheel can be turned without moving the front wheels.First secure the child restraint with the LATCH lower anchors or the seat belt. If the child restraint manufacturer recommends that the top tether strap be attached, attach and tighten the top tether strap to the top tether strap anchor. Child restraint hook holders are located on the back of the rear seatbacks. WARNING Take the following precautions when installing the tether strap: Read and follow all installation instructions provided with your child restraint system.Categories
