Repair procedures
| Removal |
| 1. |
Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to the Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line") |
| 2. |
Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 3. |
Remove the rear seat cushion. (Refer to Body - "Rear Seat Assembly") |
| 4. |
Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

| 5. |
Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (A).
|
| 6. |
Remove the locking ring (B) by using the special service tool (A) [No.: 09310-B8100].
|
| 7. |
Remove the sub fuel sender (A).
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Description and operation Description • Side Impact Sensor (SIS) system consists of two Pressure Side Impact Sensor (P-SIS) installed at each center of the front door module (LH and RH), two SIS installed at each center pillar nearby (LH and RH) and two rear SIS installed in the rear pillar (LH and RH). • Pressure Side Impact Sensor is also called P-SIS because it detects pressure from collision at its mounting location.Components and components location Component Location 1.
