Description

When manually selected, the heated steering wheel system improves the thermal comfort of the driver by heating the steering wheel.

Repair procedures

Inspection

NTC characteristic

1.	Measure the resistance of NTC and Heated pad. NTC resistance - 8.875 - 11.27 kΩ (25°C ±1°C) Heated pad resistance - 1.95 ± 0.2 Ω (22°C ±1°C)

Measure the temperature.

–	The temperature of wheel surface must rise from -20°C to 20°C in 6 minutes.

–	The temperature of wheel surface must reach 38°C in 25 minutes.
