Illuminated engine start/stop button

Whenever the front door is opened, the engine start/stop button will illuminate for your convenience. The light will go off after about 30 seconds when the door is closed.
When all doors are closed and you lock the vehicle by using the transmitter or the smart key, the light will go off immediately.

To release the EPB (electronic parking brake), press the EPB switch while doing the following: Have the ignition switch or engine start/stop button in the ON position. Depress the brake pedal. The shift lever must be in P (Park). Make sure the brake warning light goes off. To release EPB (electronic parking brake) automatically: Shift lever in P (Park) With the engine running depress the brake pedal and shift out of P (Park) to R (Reverse) or D (Drive).Repair procedures Inspection Battery Voltage and Status Check the battery voltage and status using the battery tester. Battery Terminal 1. Move back and forth to check if the battery terminals (A) are loose or corroded. If the terminals are corroded, clean them. If battery positive connection is loose, disconnect ground(GND) cable first before attempting to remove or tighten plus connection, to prevent personal injury.
