Repair procedures

Replacement

1.	Remove the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Drive Belt System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")

2.	Remove the front oil seal (A).

Install the new front oil seal.

Apply engine oil on the edge of new front oil seal.

Remove any debris from the lip portion of the oil seal.

(2)

Using the SST (0K231-2C200), install a new front oil seal.

Always use a new front oil seal.

4.	Install the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Drive Belt System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")

Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the luggage side trim [LH]. (Refer to Body - "Luggage Side Trim") 3. Disconnect the fuel filler door release actuator connector (A). 4. Remove the fuel filler door housing.

Repair procedures Removal and Installation 1. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Drive Belt System - "Drive Belt") 2. Remove the drive belt auto tensioner pulley (A). Tightening torque : 53.9 - 63.7 N·m (5.5 - 6.5 kg·m, 39.8 - 47.0 lb·ft) Tensioner pulley bolt is left-hands screw.
