Kia Stinger: Cylinder Block / Rear Oil Seal
Repair procedures

Remove the automatic transmission.
(Refer to Automatic Transmission System - "Automatic Transmission")

Remove the drive plate.
(Refer to Cylinder Block - "Drive Plate")
|
3. |
Remove the rear oil seal (A).
|
4. |
Install new rear oil seal.
(1) |
Apply engine oil to a new oil seal lip.
|
(2) |
Using SST (09214 - 2W200, 09214-3K100) (B) and a hammer, tap
in the oil seal (A) until its surface is flush with the rear oil
seal retainer edge.
Always use a new rear oil seal.

Install the other parts in the reverse order of removal.

Remove the condenser.
2.
Remove the cap (B) from the bottom of the condenser using an L wrench
(A).
Tightening torque :
9.8 - 14.7 N·m (1.0 - 1.5 kgf·m, 7.2 - 10.8 lb·ft)
