Automatic-dimming function
Your mirror will automatically dim upon detecting glare from the vehicles traveling behind you. The autodimming function can be controlled by the Dimming ON/OFF Button:
1. Pressing the
button turns the
auto-dimming function OFF which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED turning
off.
2. Pressing the
button again turns
the auto-dimming function ON which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED
turning on.
✽ NOTICE
The mirror defaults to the ON position each time the vehicle is started.
Z-Nav™ Compass Display
The NVS® Mirror in your vehicle is also equipped with a Z-NAV™ Compass that shows the vehicle Compass heading in the Display Window using the 8 basic cardinal headings (N, NE, E, SE, etc.).

Your vehicle is equipped with an occupant detection system in the front passenger's seat. The occupant detection system is designed to detect the presence of a properly-seated front passenger and determine if the passenger's front air bag should be enabled (may inflate) or not. Only the front passenger front air bag is controlled by the Occupant Detection System.(1) Power liftgate open/close button (2) Power liftgate handle switch (3) Power liftgate close button ✽ NOTICE If the engine start/stop button is ON, the power liftgate can operate when the automatic transmission is in P (Park). WARNING Never leave children or animals unattended in your vehicle.
