Kia Stinger: ISG (Idle Stop & Go) System / Hood switch
Description and operation
Hood switch is one of the factors influencing the activation of the ISG function.
When the hood is open, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for
safety reasons.

Hood Switch Inspection

Remove the front bumper assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Assembly")

Disconnect the hood switch connector (A).
