Automatic-dimming function

Your mirror will automatically dim upon detecting glare from the vehicles traveling behind you. The autodimming function can be controlled by the Dimming ON/OFF Button:

1. Pressing the button turns the auto-dimming function OFF which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED turning off.

2. Pressing the button again turns the auto-dimming function ON which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED turning on.

✽ NOTICE

The mirror defaults to the ON position each time the vehicle is started.

Z-Nav™ Compass Display

The NVS® Mirror in your vehicle is also equipped with a Z-NAV™ Compass that shows the vehicle Compass heading in the Display Window using the 8 basic cardinal headings (N, NE, E, SE, etc.).

Never move the shift lever from P (Park) or N (Neutral) to any other position with the accelerator pedal depressed. Never move the shift lever into P (Park) when the vehicle is in motion. Be sure the vehicle is completely stopped before you attempt to shift into R (Reverse) or D (Drive). Do not move the shift lever to N (Neutral) when driving.

Description and operation Description The evaporator temperature sensor detects the evaporator core temperature and interrupts compressor relay power in order to prevent evaporator from freezing by excessive cooling. Repair procedures Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.
