Operation Specifications

When the humidity in the passenger compartment increases, the system below will be activated in the following order.

a.

REC → FRE switching and symbol lighting ("SMART VENTILATION ON")

b.

The defrost door inside the heater unit gradually opens according to the increase in humidity in the passenger compartment.

c.

The blower is activated. (Operates at 3.0 V)

Pressing the REC/FRE button during operation will activate REC mode and switch to FRE mode after 3 minutes.

When the vehicle is stationary [below 15 km/h (9.3 mile/h)], it will not operate due to concern of inflow of exhaust fumes.

Don't diagnose this condition as a trouble because the blower rotates weakly even though it is air conditioning "OFF" state.
