Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the tailgate trim. (Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")

3.	Disconnect the power tailgate latch connector (A) and power closing unit connector (B).

4.	Loosen the power tailgate latch (A) mounting bolts.

5.	Loosen the power closing unit (A) mounting nuts.

6.	Remove the power tailgate latch & power closing unit (A).

Installation

1.	Install the power tailgate latch and power closing unit.

2.	Connect the power tailgate latch and power closing unit connector.

3.	Install the tailgate trim.

4.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection
