Shift the gear to "N".
|

Loosen the nut (A) and remove the shift cable fixing clip (B).
Tightening torque :
9.8 - 14.7 N·m (1.0 - 1.5 kgf·m, 7.2 - 10.8 lb·ft)

When installing, the existing shift cable clip (A) must be replaced
with new one. (Do not reuse it.)

Remove the shift lever.
(Refer to Automatic Transmission Control System - "Shift lever")

Then, remove the shift cable by pulling it toward the vehicle interior.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
