Repair procedures
Removal
1.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove mirror (A) to the direction as shown in the picture using (-) screw driver.

  

Protect mirror from removing tool with cloth (B) wrapped.

Be careful not to damage mirror and mirror housing during removing process.

Apply force around the center of mirror because to apply force the end of mirror will break it.

  

Be careful not to damage the fixing clips (A).

3.

Disconnect the heater connectors (B) and BCW indicator connector (A) from the mirror.

4.

Remove the BCW indicator (A) from the mirror.

Installation
1.

Install the BCW indicator.

2.

Connect the heater connectors and BCW indicator connector.

3.

Install the mirror.

4.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection
1.

Remove the outside rear view mirror.

(Refer to Body - "Outside Rear View Mirror")

2.

Verify that the mirror operates properly as shown in the below table.

Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Service Manual: Parking Brake & Brake Fluid Warning Light

This warning light illuminates: Once you set the Engine Start/Stop Button to the ON position. - It illuminates for approximately 3 seconds When the parking brake is applied, the warning light will remain on. When the brake fluid level in the reservoir is low. - If the warning light illuminates with the parking brake released, it indicates the brake fluid level in reservoir is low.
