Put on gloves to protect your hands. |

Loosen the radiator upper cover mounting clips and sides mounting bolts.
|
| 2. |
Loosen the engine room under cover mounting clips.
|
| 3. |
Separate the front bumper (A) after loosening the sides mounting clips and screws
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the front bumper main connector (A).
|
| 5. |
Remove the front bumper cover (A).
|
| 6. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Description and operation Description Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) system advances or retards the valve timing of the intake and exhaust valve in accordance with the ECM control signal which is calculated by the engine speed and load. By controlling CVVT, the valve over-lap or under-lap occurs, which makes better fuel economy and reduces exhaust gases (NOx, HC) and improves engine performance through reduction of pumping loss, internal EGR effect, improvement of combustion stability, improvement of volumetric efficiency, and increase of expansion work.Repair procedures Removal 1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 2. Remove the luggage side trim. (Refer to Body - "Luggage side trim") 3. Disconnect the ECS control unit connector (A). 4. Loosen the ECS control unit bracket nut and then remove the ECS control unit (A).Categories
