Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the driver front door trim. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")

3.	Disconnect the intergrated memory seat switch connector (A).

4.	Remove the intergrated memory seat switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

1.	Install the intergrated memory seat switch.

2.	Connect the inegrated memory seat switch connector.

3.	Install the driver front door trim.

4.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

1.	Remove the intergrated memory seat switch connector.

When each switch is pressed, check the electricity flow between intergrated memory seat switch connector and grounding, and if the electricity does not match the specification, replace the switch.

Switch	Connector Terminal	Resistance
SET	3-5	680Ω
Memory 1		1.5 kΩ
Memory 2		3.3 kΩ

An detection device located within the front passenger seat cushion. An electronic system which determines whether the passenger air bag systems should be activated or deactivated. An indicator light located on the instrument panel which illuminates the words PASSENGER AIR BAG “OFF” indicates the front passenger air bag system is deactivated.
