Kia Stinger CK: Airbag Module / Side Airbag (SAB) Module

Description and operation
Description

Installed inside the front seat, the side airbags (SAB) protect the driver and front passenger from danger in the event of a side crash. The SRSCM determines deployment of side airbag based on Side Impact Sensor (SIS) signal.

Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag module (squib) even if you are using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accidental airbag deployment will result in serious personal injury

Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Service Manual: Using All Wheel Drive (AWD)

The All Wheel Drive (AWD) System delivers engine power to front and rear wheels for maximum traction. AWD is useful when extra traction is required, such as when driving slippery, muddy, wet, or snow-covered roads. If the system determines there is a need for four wheel drive, the engine's driving power is distributed to all four wheels automatically.
