Repair procedures
Removal
1.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Remove the tailgate trim.

(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")

3.

Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).

4.

Remove the anti-pinch strip (A) after removing the mounting clips.

Installation
1.

Install the anti-pinch strip.

2.

Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector.

3.

Install the tailgate trim.

4.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection
