Repair procedures
| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the tailgate trim. (Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).
|
| 4. |
Remove the anti-pinch strip (A) after removing the mounting clips.

| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the anti-pinch strip. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector. |
| 3. |
Install the tailgate trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| Inspection |
Inspection of the Anti-Pinch Strip
Refer to Power Tailgate System - "Troubleshooting"
Other information:
Repair procedures Removal 1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to the Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line") 2. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 3. Remove the rear seat cushion.All Kia Air Conditioning Systems are filled with R-1234yf refrigerant. 1.Start the engine. Press the air conditioning button. 2.Set the mode to the position. 3.Set the air intake control to the outside air or recirculated air position. 4.Adjust the fan speed control and temperature control to maintain maximum comfort. • When maximum cooling is desired, set the temperature control to the extreme left position, then set the fan speed control to the highest speed.Categories
