Remove the tailgate trim. (Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim") |

Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).

Remove the anti-pinch strip (A) after removing the mounting clips.

Install the anti-pinch strip. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector. |
| 3. |
Install the tailgate trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
