To stop the engine in idle stop mode
Stop the vehicle completely by pressing the brake pedal when the shift lever is in the D (Drive) or N (Neutral) position.
The engine will stop and the green AUTO STOP(
)
indicator on the instrument cluster will illuminate.
✽ NOTICE
If you open the engine hood in auto stop mode, the following will happen:
- The ISG system will deactivate (the light on the ISG OFF button will illuminate).
- A message will appear on the LCD display.
- If you move the transmission lever from N to D (manual mode) or R without depressing the brake pedal after stopping engine automatically, the engine does not restart automatically and a warning chime alarms. When this happens, press the brake pedal for auto start.

If your temperature gauge indicates overheating, you experience a loss of power, or hear loud pinging or knocking, the engine will probably be too hot. If this happens, you should: 1.Pull off the road and stop as soon as it is safe to do so. 2.Place the shift lever in P and set the parking brake. If the air conditioning is on, turn it off. 3.❈ Left side : Normal , Right side : Blown A vehicle’s electrical system is protected from electrical overload damage by fuses. This vehicle has 4 (or 5) fuse panels, one located in the driver’s side panel bolster, the other in the engine compartment near the battery. If any of your vehicle’s lights, accessories, or controls do not work, check the appropriate circuit fuse.Categories
