Average Fuel Economy (1)
✽ NOTICE
The fuel economy may vary significantly based on driving conditions, driving habits, and condition of the vehicle.
Manual reset
To clear the average fuel economy manually, press the OK button (reset) on the steering wheel for more than 1 second when the average fuel economy is displayed.
Automatic reset
To make the average fuel economy be reset automatically whenever refueling, select the “Fuel economy auto reset” mode in User Setting menu of the LCD window (Refer to “LCD window”).
✽ NOTICE
For a more accurate calculation of the average fuel economy, the vehicle must be continuously driven more than 10 seconds and 50 meters (0.03 miles).
Instant Fuel Economy (2)
• This mode displays the instant fuel economy during the last few seconds when the vehicle speed is more than 8 km/h (4.9 mph).
- Fuel economy range : 0 ~ 30 (km/L, L/100 km), 0 ~ 50 (MPG).
CAUTION - Low Fuel Level
Level warning light on or with the fuel level below “E” can cause the engine to misfire and damage the catalytic converter.
Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Owner's Manual: CVVT (Continuous Variable Valve Timing) System
Description and operation Description Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) system advances or retards the valve timing of the intake and exhaust valve in accordance with the ECM control signal which is calculated by the engine speed and load. By controlling CVVT, the valve over-lap or under-lap occurs, which makes better fuel economy and reduces exhaust gases (NOx, HC) and improves engine performance through reduction of pumping loss, internal EGR effect, improvement of combustion stability, improvement of volumetric efficiency, and increase of expansion work.Repair procedures Removal 1. Remove the engine room front under cover and side cover. (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover") 2. Drain the engine oil. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil") 3. Remove the engine mounting support bracket nut (A).
