| Removal |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the front seat back cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Back Cover") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the lumbar support motor connectors (A).

| 4. |
Separate the retaining clips (A) from the seat frame.
|
| 5. |
Remove the lumbar support assembly (B) after disengaging mounting clip (A).
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the lumbar support assembly. |
| 2. |
Install the front seat back cover. |
| 3. |
Install the front seat assembly.

| Inspection |
Lumbar Support Motor
| 1. |
Disconnect the connectors for motor.
|
| 2. |
When the battery power is supplied to the motor connector, check the motor for smooth operation. |
| 3. |
Reverse the connections and check that the motor turns in reverse. |
| 4. |
If the motor runs abnormally, replace it.

Description and operation Description • Side Impact Sensor (SIS) system consists of two Pressure Side Impact Sensor (P-SIS) installed at each center of the front door module (LH and RH), two SIS installed at each center pillar nearby (LH and RH) and two rear SIS installed in the rear pillar (LH and RH). • Pressure Side Impact Sensor is also called P-SIS because it detects pressure from collision at its mounting location.
