Kia Stinger CK: Seat Electrical / Lumbar Support Unit
Repair procedures
| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the front seat back cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Back Cover") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the lumbar support motor connectors (A).
|
| 4. |
Separate the retaining clips (A) from the seat frame.
|
| 5. |
Remove the lumbar support assembly (B) after disengaging mounting clip (A).
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the lumbar support assembly. |
| 2. |
Install the front seat back cover. |
| 3. |
Install the front seat assembly.

| Inspection |
Lumbar Support Motor
| 1. |
Disconnect the connectors for motor.
|
| 2. |
When the battery power is supplied to the motor connector, check the motor for smooth operation. |
| 3. |
Reverse the connections and check that the motor turns in reverse. |
| 4. |
If the motor runs abnormally, replace it.
|

1.Carry the smart key or place it inside the vehicle. 2.Make sure the parking brake is firmly applied 3.Place the shift lever in P (Park). Depress the brake pedal fully. You can also start the engine when the shift lever is in the N (Neutral) position. 4.Press the engine start/stop button while depressing the brake pedal. 5.Do not wait for the engine to warm up while the vehicle remains stationary.Categories
