Diagnosis With KDS

The body electrical system can be quickly diagnosed for failed parts by using vehicle diagnostic system (KDS). The diagnostic system (KDS) provides the following information.

Select the 'Car model' and the system to be checked in order to check the vehicle with the tester. |
| 3. |
Select the 'Driver seat or Assistant seat door module (DDM/ADM)' to check the driver seat or assistant door module (DDM/ADM). |
| 4. |
Select the "Current Data" menu to check the current state of the input/output data. The input/output data for the sensors corresponding to the driver seat or assist door module (DDM/ADM) can be checked. |
| 5. |
If you will check the power door mirror operation forcefully, select "Actuation test". |
| Removal |

| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the power window switch connector (A).

| 4. |
Remove the power window switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the power window switch. |
| 2. |
Connect the power window switch connector. |
| 3. |
Install the front door trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Description and operation Description The primary purpose of the SRSCM (Supplemental Restraints System Control Module) is to discriminate between an event that warrants restraint system deployment and an event that does not. The SRSCM must decide whether to deploy the restraint system or not. After determining that pretensioners and/or airbag deployment is required, the SRSCM must supply sufficient power to the pretensioners and airbag igniters to initiate deployment.Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Service Manual: LKA system operation
To activate/deactivate the LKA system: With the ignition switch in the ON position, press the LKA system button located on the instrument panel on the lower left hand side of the driver. The indicator in the cluster display will initially illuminate white. When the indicator (white) activated in the previous ignition cycle, the system turns on without any control.
