Kia Stinger CK: Power Door Mirrors / Power Door Mirror Actuator

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the outside mirror assembly.

Disconnect the power door mirror connector (A) from the harness.

Apply battery voltage to each terminal as shown in the table and verify that the mirror operates properly.

In the body electrical system, failure can be quickly diagnosed by using the vehicle diagnostic system (KDS).

Select the 'Car model' and the system to be checked in order to check the vehicle with the tester.

Select the 'Driver seat or Assistant seat door module (DDM/ADM)' to check the driver seat or assistant door module (DDM/ADM).

Select the "Current Data" menu to search the current state of the input/output data.

The input/output data for the sensors corresponding to the driver seat or assistant door module(DDM/ADM) can be checked.

If you will check the power door lock operation forcefully, select "Actuation test".

After inserting the flat-bladed screwdriver or remover as shown in the illustration below, remove the mirror (A) by applying a momentary force.

• Wrap the tool with protective tape or cloth to prevent damage to the parts. • Do not insert the tool too deeply.

Disconnect the heater connectors (A) and rear corner radar indicator connector (B).

Remove the mirror actuator (A) by using flat-bladed screwdriver or remover after loosening the screw.

Disconnect the mirror actuator connector (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.
