Repair procedures
Removal
1.

Remove wheel nuts, front wheel and tire (A) from hub.

Tightening torque:

107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft)

  

Be careful not to damage the wheel bolts when removing the wheel and tire (A).

2.

Loosen the nut and then separate the stabilizer link from the front shock absorber.

Tightening torque:

98.1 - 117.7 N·m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf·m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb·ft)

3.

Loosen the bolts (A) and then remove the stabilizer bar.

Tightening torque:

49.0 - 63.7 N·m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf·m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb·ft)

4.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection
1.

Check the bushing for wear and deterioration.

2.

Check the front stabilizer bar for deformation.

3.

Check the front stabilizer link ball joint for damage.

Before entering vehicle Be sure that all windows, outside mirror(s), and outside lights are clean. Check the condition of the tires. Check under the vehicle for any sign of leaks. Be sure there are no obstacles behind you if you intend to back up. Necessary inspections Fluid levels, such as engine oil, engine coolant, brake fluid, and washer fluid should be checked on a regular basis, at the exact interval depending on the fluid.
