Replacement
  

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

  

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Separate the rear seat cushion assembly (A).

2.

Remove the rear seat cushion assembly after disconnecting the rear seat heater connector (A).

3.

Disconnect the rear seat belt buckle connector (A).

4.

Remove the rear seat belt buckle (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

[LH]

[RH]

5.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

  

Make sure that the connector is connected properly.

Replace any damage clips.

Description and operation Description The smart cruise control unit is installed on the front right-hand side of the chassis. A radar sensor is embedded in the front section of the unit. This sensor detects vehicles and objects in front of the vehicle. The radar sensor can detect up to 64 objects ahead of the vehicle. The alarm goes off when the vehicle deviates from the horizontal and vertical alignment reference points during operation.

The cruise control system allows you to program the vehicle to maintain a constant speed without depressing the accelerator pedal. This system is designed to function above approximately 30 km/h (20 mph ). If the cruise control is left on, (cruise indicator light is illuminated), the cruise control can be switched on accidentally. Keep the cruise control system off when the cruise control is not in use, to avoid inadvertently setting a speed.
