Distance to empty

• The distance to empty is the estimated distance the vehicle can be driven with the remaining fuel.

- Distance range : 1 ~ 9,999 km (1 ~ 9,999 mi.)

• If the estimated distance is below 1 km (1 mi.), the trip computer will display “---” as distance to empty.

✽ NOTICE

  • If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been interrupted, the distance to empty function may not operate correctly.
  • The distance to empty may differ from the actual driving distance as it is an estimate of the available driving distance.
  • The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 6 liters (1.6 gallons) of fuel are added to the vehicle.
  • The fuel economy and distance to empty may vary significantly based on driving conditions, driving habits, and condition of the vehicle.

Description and operation Description An ignition coil is an induction coil in an engine's ignition system which transforms the battery's low voltage to the high voltage needed to create an electric spark in the spark plugs to ignite the fuel. Coils have an internal resistor while others rely on a resistor wire or an external resistor to limit the current flowing into the coil from the battery 12 V supply.

Description and operation Description The photo sensor is located at the center of the defrost nozzles. The photo sensor contains a photovoltaic (sensitive to sunlight) diode. The solar radiation received by its light receiving portion, generates an electromotive force in proportion to the amount of radiation received which is then transferred to the automatic temperature control module so that the solar radiation compensation can be performed.
