Automatic-dimming function
Your mirror will automatically dim upon detecting glare from the vehicles traveling behind you. The autodimming function can be controlled by the Dimming ON/OFF Button:
1. Pressing the
button turns the
auto-dimming function OFF which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED turning
off.
2. Pressing the
button again turns
the auto-dimming function ON which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED
turning on.
✽ NOTICE
The mirror defaults to the ON position each time the vehicle is started.
Z-Nav™ Compass Display
The NVS® Mirror in your vehicle is also equipped with a Z-NAV™ Compass that shows the vehicle Compass heading in the Display Window using the 8 basic cardinal headings (N, NE, E, SE, etc.).

Blade inspection Commercial hot waxes applied by automatic car washes have been known to make the windshield difficult to clean. Contamination of either the windshield or the wiper blades with foreign matter can reduce the effectiveness of the windshield wipers. Common sources of contamination are insects, tree sap, and hot wax treatments used by some commercial car washes.Battery saver function The purpose of this feature is to prevent the battery from being discharged if the lights are left in the ON position. The system automatically shuts off the parking lights 30 seconds after the ignition key is removed and the driver’s door is opened and closed. With this feature, the parking lights will turn off automatically if the driver parks on the side of the road at night and opens the driver’s side door.Categories
