Description and operation
| Description |
Installed on the windshield glass, the auto defogging sensor judges and sends signal to blow out wind for defogging if moisture occurs. On receiving the signal from the sensor, the air conditioner control module restrains moisture and eliminates fog by controlling the intake actuator, A/C, auto defogging actuator, blower motor rpm, and mode actuator.

To inspect and diagnose the sensor, refer to Self-Diagnostic procedure and DTC guide.
| Replacement |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the auto defogging sensor cover (A).
|
| 3. |
Remove the auto defogging sensor (A) after disconnecting the auto defogging sensor connector (B).
|
| 4. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Remove the drive plate adapter (A) and drive plate (B). Tightening torque : 117.7 - 127.5 N·m (12 - 13 kg·m, 86.If your vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you can slide or tilt your sunroof with the sunroof control lever located on the overhead console. The sunroof can be operated for approximately 30 seconds after the Engine Start/Stop button is in the OFF position. However, if the driver’s door is opened, the sunroof cannot be operated even within the 30 second period.Categories
