Description and operation

Description

Located in the blower unit, the climate control air filter eliminates foreign materials and odor. The particle filter performs the roles of an odor filter as well as a conventional dust filter to ensure pleasant interior environment.

Repair procedures

Replacement

1.	Remove the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).

2.	Remove the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

3.	Remove the filter cover (A) by pressing the knob.

Replace the air filter (A) according to the replacement cycle on the user manual. When replacing it, mind the direction of the air filter.

•	To remove the filter easily, press the righthand side inward and then pull out the filter.

•	When driving in an air-polluted area or on rugged terrain, check and replace the air filter as frequently as possible.

5.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

If the fuel filler lid does not open using the fuel filler lid opener button, you can open it manually. Remove the panel in the cargo area. Pull the handle out slightly. CAUTION Do not pull the handle excessively, otherwise the luggage area trim or release handle may be damaged. WARNING - Refueling Always remove the fuel cap carefully and slowly.
