Description and operation

Description

Height sensor sense a change of vehicle height and send this signal to AFS ECU. Height sensor is comprised of rotor/stator, PCB coil and sensor lever.

Sensor check the lever angle value which is calculated by the magnetic field of stator.

Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Disconnect height sensor connector (A).

3.	Remove the height sensor link (A).

4.	Remove the height sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Installation

1.	Install the height sensor and link.

2.	Connect the height sensor connector.

3.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Your vehicle is equipped with a compact spare tire. This compact spare tire takes up less space than a regular- size tire. This tire is smaller than a conventional tire and is designed for temporary use only. You should drive carefully when the compact spare is in use. The compact spare should be replaced by the proper conventional tire and rim at the first opportunity.
