Description and operation

Description

Height sensor sense a change of vehicle height and send this signal to AFS ECU. Height sensor is comprised of rotor/stator, PCB coil and sensor lever.

Sensor check the lever angle value which is calculated by the magnetic field of stator.

Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Disconnect height sensor connector (A).

3.	Remove the height sensor link (A).

4.	Remove the height sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Installation

1.	Install the height sensor and link.

2.	Connect the height sensor connector.

3.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Please keep extra bulbs on hand with appropriate wattage ratings in case of emergencies. Refer to “Bulb Wattage” in chapter 8. When changing lamps, first turn off the engine at a safe place, firmly apply the parking brake and detach the battery’s negative (-) terminal. WARNING - Working on the lights Prior to working on the light, firmly apply the parking brake, ensure that the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and turn off the lights to avoid sudden movement of the vehicle burns to your skin or fingers, or an electric shock.

Description and operation Description The starting system includes the battery, starter, solenoid switch, ignition switch, inhibitor switch (A/T), clutch pedal switch (M/T), ignition lock switch, connection wires and the battery cable. When the ignition key is turned to the start position, current flows and energizes the starter motor's solenoid coil.
