Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the tail gate trim. (Refer to Tail Gate - "Tail Gate Trim")

2.	Remove the tail gate lever bumper (A) after loosening the mounting screw.

Loosen the rear spoiler mounting nuts.

Tightening torque :

5.9 - 6.4 N·m (0.6 - 0.65 Kgf·m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb·ft)

4.	Remove the rear spoiler (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace any damaged clips.
