1. Turn the ignition switch and all other switches off. 2. Remove the fuse panel cover by pressing the tab and pulling the cover up. When the blade type fuse is disconnected, remove it by using the clip designed for changing fuses located in the engine compartment fuse box. Your vehicle is equipped with an electronic engine immobilizer system to reduce the risk of unauthorized vehicle use. Whenever the ENGINE START/STOP button is changed to the ON position, the immobilizer system checks and verifies if the key is valid or not. If the key is valid, the engine will start. If the key is invalid, the engine will not start.
