Automatic-dimming function
Your mirror will automatically dim upon detecting glare from the vehicles traveling behind you. The autodimming function can be controlled by the Dimming ON/OFF Button:
1. Pressing the
button turns the
auto-dimming function OFF which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED turning
off.
2. Pressing the
button again turns
the auto-dimming function ON which is indicated by the green Status Indicator LED
turning on.
✽ NOTICE
The mirror defaults to the ON position each time the vehicle is started.
Z-Nav™ Compass Display
The NVS® Mirror in your vehicle is also equipped with a Z-NAV™ Compass that shows the vehicle Compass heading in the Display Window using the 8 basic cardinal headings (N, NE, E, SE, etc.).

Components and components location Components Repair procedures Removal lf replacement of the bracket or extension wire of BCW unit is required, it is recommended to surely replace the defective part only with a new one, not the whole BCW unit.Repair procedures Removal 1. Remove wheel nuts, wheel and tire (A) from hub. Tightening torque: 107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft) Be careful not to damage the wheel bolts when removing the wheel and tire (A).Categories
