Description and operation
| Description |
Via the seat belt/door switch, the ISG function can detect if the driver side seat belt is fastened and the driver side door is closed. If the driver side seat belt/door are not fastened/closed, the ISG system will not operate. If the seat belt/door are unfastened/opened, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for safety reasons.

Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly") |

Remove the front seat belt buckle (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Repair procedures Removal and Installation 1. Remove the oil level gauge (A). 2. Remove the engine room front under cover and LH side cover. (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover") 3. Remove the LH engine mounting support bracket nut (A).Before entering vehicle Be sure that all windows, outside mirror(s), and outside lights are clean. Check the condition of the tires. Check under the vehicle for any sign of leaks. Be sure there are no obstacles behind you if you intend to back up. Necessary inspections Fluid levels, such as engine oil, engine coolant, brake fluid, and washer fluid should be checked on a regular basis, at the exact interval depending on the fluid.Categories
