Description and operation
| Description |
Via the seat belt/door switch, the ISG function can detect if the driver side seat belt is fastened and the driver side door is closed. If the driver side seat belt/door are not fastened/closed, the ISG system will not operate. If the seat belt/door are unfastened/opened, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for safety reasons.

Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly") |

Remove the front seat belt buckle (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Repair procedures Removal BSM (Balance Shaft Module) Chain System 1. Remove the timing chain. (Refer to Timing System - "Timing Chain") 2. Install a stopper pin (A) after compressing the balance shaft chain tensioner. 3. Remove the balance shaft chain tensioner (B).■ Front seat • Type A ■ Front seat • Type B ■ Rear seat The seat warmer is provided to warm the front seats during cold weather. With the ignition switch in the ON position, push up either of the switches to warm the driver's seat or the front passenger's seat. During mild weather or under conditions where the operation of the seat warmer is not needed, keep the switches in the “OFF” position.Categories
