Repair procedures

Removal

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool to prevent damaging the surface.

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the crash pad passenger side panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Center Panel")

3.	Remove the AVN front monitor (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

4.	Disconnect the AVN front monitor connectors (A).

Installation

1.	Connect the AVN front monitor connectors.

2.	Install the AVN front monitor.

3.	Install the crash pad passenger side panel.

4.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Some vehicles ahead in your lane cannot be recognized by the sensor as follows: - Narrow vehicles such as motorcycles or bicycles - Vehicles offset to one side - Slow-moving vehicles or suddendecelerating vehicles - Stopped vehicles - Vehicles with small rear profiles such as trailers with no loads A vehicle ahead cannot be recognized correctly by the sensor if any of following occurs: - When the vehicle is pointing upwards due to overloading in the trunk or luggage area.
