| Description |
Installed on the high pressure fuel pump, the Fuel Pressure Control Valve controls flow of fuel into the injectors in accordance with the ECM signal calculated based on various engine conditions.

| 1. |
Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator valve connector. |
| 3. |
Measure resistance between the fuel pressure regulator valve terminals 1 and 2. |
| 4. |
Check that the resistance is within the specification.

| Removal |
Fuel Pressure Control Valve cannot be replaced on its own; it should be replaced with the high pressure fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "High pressure fuel pump") |
