Remove the tailgate upper trim. (Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim") |

Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector (A).

Remove the high mounted stop lamp (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

Install the high mounted stop lamp. |
| 2. |
Connect the high mounted stop lamp connector. |
| 3. |
Install the tailgate upper trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

The sensor may be limited when: - The radar or the camera is contaminated with foreign substances. - It heavily rains or snows. - There is electromagnetic interference. - Something in the path of travel deflects the radar waves. - The vehicle in front has a narrow body. (i.e. motor cycle and bicycle) - The driver's view is not clear due to backlight, reflected light, or darkness.Description and operation Description Via the seat belt/door switch, the ISG function can detect if the driver side seat belt is fastened and the driver side door is closed. If the driver side seat belt/door are not fastened/closed, the ISG system will not operate. If the seat belt/door are unfastened/opened, the engine will not start or stop by the ISG function for safety reasons.
