Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the tailgate upper trim. (Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim") |

Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector (A).

Remove the high mounted stop lamp (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

| Installation |

Install the high mounted stop lamp. |
| 2. |
Connect the high mounted stop lamp connector. |
| 3. |
Install the tailgate upper trim. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove wheel nuts, wheel and tire (A) from hub. Tightening torque: 107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft) Be careful not to damage the wheel bolts when removing the wheel and tire (A).
