Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Drain the coolant. (Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")

2.	Remove the oil filter. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")

3.	Disconnect the oil cooler coolant hoses (A).

4.	Loosen the mounting bolt (B) and remove the oil cooler assembly (C).

Installation

Apply a light coat of engine oil to the oil cooler packing surface and then install the oil cooler (B) with fix bolt (A).

Tightening torque:

44.1 - 53.9 N·m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf·m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb·ft)

Fix position of oil cooler stopper(A) where oil cooler resists on ladder frame stopper (B).

2.	Connect the oil cooler coolant hoses (A).

3.	Install the oil filter. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")

4.	Fill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks.

The air bags are designed not to deploy in such cases because they may not provide benefits beyond the protection of the seat belts in such collisions. • Air bags are not designed to inflate in rear collisions, because occupants are moved backward by the force of the impact.
