Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Drain the coolant. (Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")

2.	Remove the oil filter. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")

3.	Disconnect the oil cooler coolant hoses (A).

4.	Loosen the mounting bolt (B) and remove the oil cooler assembly (C).

Installation

Apply a light coat of engine oil to the oil cooler packing surface and then install the oil cooler (B) with fix bolt (A).

Tightening torque:

44.1 - 53.9 N·m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf·m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb·ft)

Fix position of oil cooler stopper(A) where oil cooler resists on ladder frame stopper (B).

2.	Connect the oil cooler coolant hoses (A).

3.	Install the oil filter. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")

4.	Fill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks.

The vehicle should be driven at reduced speeds in the following circumstances: When driving on rough, gravel or snow-covered roads When driving on roads where the road surface is pitted or has different surface heights.
