Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the vanity lamp (A) using a flat-tip screwdriver.

Disconnect the vanity lamp connector (A).

| Installation |
| 1. |
Connect the vanity lamp connector. |
| 2. |
Install the vanity lamp. |
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Repair procedures Removal and Installation Removal of the thermostat would have an adverse effect, causing a lowering of cooling efficiency. Do not remove the thermostat, even if the engine tends to overheat. 1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.Repair procedures Inspection [On vehicle inspection] 1. Accelerate the engine to about 3,000 rpm 3 times or more. 2. Remove the spark plug. 3. Check the spark plug visually. If the electrode is dry, the spark plug is normal.
