| Valve Clearance Inspection And Adjustment |
In case of removing the high pressure fuel pump, high pressure fuel pipe, delivery pipe, and injector, there may be injury caused by leakage of the high pressure fuel. So don’t do any repair work right after engine stops. |
Inspect and adjust the valve clearance when the engine is cold (Engine coolant temperature : 20°C (68°F)) and cylinder head is installed on the cylinder block. |
| 1. |
Remove the cylinder head cover. (Refer to Cylinder Head Assembly - "Cylinder Head Cover") |

Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Service Manual: Steering Gear Rack, Linkage and Boots
Repair procedures Inspection 1. Check the steering wheel free road. (1) Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels are facing straight ahead. (2) Measure the distance where the steering wheel can be turned without moving the front wheels.Kia Stinger (CK) 2018-2023 Service Manual: Electric power steering (EPS)
The power steering uses a motor to assist you in steering the vehicle. If the engine is off or if the power steering system becomes inoperative, the vehicle may still be steered, but it will require increased steering effort. The EPS is controlled by a power steering control unit which senses the steering wheel torque and vehicle speed to command the motor.
