| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") |

Remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A) after loosening the mounting screw.

| 4. |
Remove the side crash pad switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the side crash pad switch connector (A).

| Installation |
| 1. |
Connect the side crash pad switch connector. |
| 2. |
Install the side crash pad switch. |
| 3. |
Install the crash pad garnish [LH]. |
| 4. |
Install the crash pad lower panel. |
| 5. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

1. Park on a level surface and apply the parking brake firmly. 2. Place the transaxle shift lever in P (Park). 3. Activate the hazard warning flashers. 4. Remove the wheel lug nut wrench, jack and spare tire from the vehicle. 5. Block both the front and rear of the wheel that is diagonally opposite from the jack position. In order for the FCA system to operate properly, always make sure the sensor or sensor cover is clean and free of dirt, snow, and debris. Dirt, snow, or foreign substances on the lens may adversely affect the sensing performance of the sensor. ✽ NOTICE Do not install any accessories, such as a license plate bracket or bumper sticker near the sensor area.Categories
