After loosening the mounting screw, remove the hood latch release handle (A).

2.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

  

Make sure that the hood latch cable is connected properly.

Make sure that the hood locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.

The FCA system is designed to monitor the vehicle ahead or a pedestrian on the roadway through radar signals and camera recognition to warn the driver that a collision is imminent, and if necessary, apply emergency braking. In certain situations, the radar sensor or the camera may not be able to detect the vehicle or pedestrian ahead. In these cases, the FCA system may not operate.

A properly positioned shoulder belt should be positioned midway over your shoulder across your collarbone. Never allow children to ride in the front passenger seat.
