Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Separate the pillar trim and then remove the front pillar trim (A) by pushing the mounting clip in the direction of the arrow.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

•	Once the front pillar trim has been removed, replace the clip (A) with new ones.

Repair procedures Removal 1. Remove wheel nuts, wheel and tire (A) from hub. Tightening torque: 107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft) Be careful not to damage the wheel bolts when removing the wheel and tire (A).

Repair procedures Disassembly In case of removing the high pressure fuel pump, high pressure fuel pipe, delivery pipe, and injector, there may be injury caused by leakage of the high pressure fuel. So don’t do any repair work right after engine stops. • Use fender covers to avoid damaging painted surfaces.
